The new Interdisciplinary MSc Programme in Palaeontology-Geobiology includes specializations in the following disciplines:

Macropalaeontology (with attendance at the Department of Geology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki), aiming at the scientific training and development of skills in macro palaeontology of vertebrates and asvertebrates as well as the study and management of the country’s palaeontological wealth. It also aims at rational and sustainable development in the context of geoconservation and museum-educational exploitation at local, national and international level.

MicroPalaeontology-Geobiology (with attendance at the Department of Geology & Geoenvironment of the University of Athens) aiming at the scientific training and development of skills in micropalaeontology-geobiology, especially in the fields of petroleum geology but also in the fields of environmental health and environmental monitoring.
