class=\"wp-block-uagb-tabs-child uagb-tabs__body-container uagb-inner-tab-0\" aria-labelledby=\"uagb-tabs__tab0\">\n<p><strong>Dr. Petros Petrounias<\/strong> was born in Piraeus in 1989. He earned his <strong>BSc in Geology<\/strong> in 2011 and his <strong>MSc in Mineral Raw Materials<\/strong> in 2013. He received his <strong>PhD in Applied Petrography<\/strong>, with a focus on <strong>Circular Economy<\/strong> principles, from the University of Patras, Greece, in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From 2016 to 2021, he worked as a geologist, conducting numerous <strong>Geological and Environmental impact studies<\/strong>. Between 2020 and 2022, he was a researcher at the <strong>Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH)<\/strong>, where his primary research focused on the <strong>sustainable use of Mineral Raw Materials<\/strong>. Following a tenure as a permanent secondary education teacher (2021-2022), he was elected as a member of the <strong>Laboratory Teaching Staff (EDIP)<\/strong> at the Department of Geology, University of Patras, a position he holds to this day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Petrounias has published over <strong>53 papers<\/strong> in international peer-reviewed journals and more than <strong>40 articles<\/strong> in international conference proceedings.
