Upper crustal tectonic deformation is analysed with Geological mapping techniques at all scales of observation and in different sedimentation environments and provides important data in energy resource exploration. Recent deformation is studied with all modern remote sensing and field techniques, mainly in areas of active tectonics and recent sedimentation. Research interests in the field also include the study of paleoenvironments, paleoclimate and geodiversity conservation.
